Raid Sync for RAID ENCOUNTERS is a technology we developed utilizing Parse as a means for players to level up their raid party and keep their XP, loot, and progress consistent across multiple platforms and browsers.
How Raid Sync Works
When you play RAID ENCOUNTERS on mobile devices or in a browser, the game will, by default, utilize a local storage technique to keep your information saved. On mobile devices, this is stored in a cluster of files in your app directory, and in web browsers on your PC this information is stored in your browser's HTML5 Local Storage. In the latter method, your data is somewhat volatile and could potentially be wiped out if you ever clear your cache or cookies.
Fortunately, we were able to leverage the back-end power of Parse, a powerful cloud service by the Facebook team. With this service, we are able to offer players free cloud backup for their game information. This includes XP, loot, and game progress as well as personal high scores in both Encounters and Survival mode.
To utilize Raid Sync, all you need to do it either register an account with us via an email address or your Facebook account. Once you're logged in, your information will automatically be saved between encounters or when you exit to the Main Menu via the circular button in the bottom right corner of the screen while in a dungeon.
Keeping your data safe when you change web browsers or clear your cookies or cache was our main concern when developing Raid Sync, but this technology also allows us to make RAID ENCOUNTERS a truly universal experience. You can play on your PC, then pick up right where you left off on your mobile device. You can log in and set up syncing from every single device you own!

It's easy: just create an account and log in. The game will automatically handle the syncing in the background without bothering you.
